JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYAre you ready to build a strong foundation for your career in real estate? The Greystar Summer Internship Program offers a 10-week immersive experience where you'll develop new skills and gain hands-on experience with the leading multifamily real estate developer, investor, owner, and operator.
As a Greystar intern, you'll be exposed to all facets of our business, including development & construction, investment management, property management, and enterprise services. Your journey will be enriched through daily work experiences, intern events, and workshops including:
• Executive Speaker Series• Business Segment Trainings and Deep Dives• Strategic Lunch & Learns• Mentor Relationships• Site Visits• Community Outreach• Networking and Coffee Chat Opportunities
Additionally, you'll complete and present a Final Capstone Project to highlight your learnings and illustrate your impact. With supportive coaching and professional guidance, the Greystar Internship Program builds on your classroom knowledge, helping you transform your experience into a successful and rewarding career.
The Greystar Intern Program will run from June 2, 2025 - August 8, 2025.
The compensation for this position is $25/hour.
We do not want housing cost to be a reason you do not apply for this internship. Greystar offers interns the opportunity to apply for a need-based housing stipend and requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Start, build, and advance your construction career at Greystar! Our Internship is an immersion into the multifamily construction industry, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on skills while working on Greystar's portfolio of multimillion-dollar construction projects. As an in-house general contractor, every project requires open communication, a focus on quality, and a commitment to every detail.
Responsibilities:Assist project team in management of overall site, subcontractors, and inspection of completed workHandle project controls management, including requests for information, submittals, document management, change management and quality controlParticipate in project planning meetings and reviewsAssist the preconstruction team in performing quantity take offs, developing bid packages, soliciting bids, and preparing estimatesQualifications:
Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skillsAbility to effectively track, report, and manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlinesDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment with a wide variety of people, including owners, architects, subcontractors, and business leadersAttention to detail and focus on qualityEnrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related majorGraduating between December 2025 and June 2027COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
