Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Step Down Job Specialty: Step Down/Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Experience: License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Job Description: - Provide comprehensive nursing care in a 30-bed telemetry unit focused on procedural cardiac and vascular surgery patients.- Care for patients recovering from procedures such as TAVRS and catheterization, as well as vascular surgeries like carotid and bypass procedures.- Utilize 9 flex beds capable of supporting Step Down Unit (SDU) level of care for vascular surgery patients.- Monitor telemetry and administer medication as required.- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies.Please note that this position requires the ability to work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Applicants should be prepared for a fast-paced, dynamic hospital environment.
