Responsibilities:Under the direct supervision of the Respiratory Team Lead and as ordered by physicians, sets up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases. As a member of the patient care team, the Respiratory Therapist works collaboratively with the other members to assure the safe and accurate delivery of care. In addition, the Respiratory Therapist performs a range of technical procedures related to cardiopulmonary hemodynamics to comprehensively serve patient needs. Work done is outlined by established practice guidelines. Therapist will perform all work with accord to the mission and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital.Qualifications:Education:

Graduate of an approved, accredited program recognized by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registry Eligible Therapist.Licensure/Certification

:

Therapists are required to maintain a current license in the State of Oklahoma. Current BLS required. ACLS certification required within 18 months of employment.Experience : Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience preferred.Every team member at OHH plays an integral role in our patients experience.
