Specialty Nurse (RN) - Ankeny OB GynAnkeny, Iowa8 am to 5 pm - 4 days per week.**$5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus for external candidates.Responsibilities:Join an amazing team at a nationally recognized Top Place to Work in Healthcare!
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for women's health? Join our OB/GYN clinic team and contribute to providing exceptional care to women throughout their reproductive health journey.Assist OB/GYN providers in conducting patient assessments, examinations, and procedures.Educate patients on prenatal care, family planning, contraceptive options, and women's health issues.Perform and assist with prenatal screenings, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tests.Administer medications, injections, and treatments as ordered by providers.Coordinate patient referrals to specialists, diagnostic facilities, and support services as needed.Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (EHR) and documentation of patient care.Support patients emotionally and provide guidance during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum periods.Qualifications:Current License to Practice, RN (State of Iowa).Prior OB-Gyn, L&D work experience preferred.BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification.Why UnityPoint Health?Commitment to our Team For the third consecutive year, we're proud to be recognized as a Top 150 Place to Work in Healthcare 2022 by Becker's Healthcare for our commitment to our team members.Culture At UnityPoint Health, you matter.
