Makes rounds to review status of residents receiving wound and ostomy care, contributes to interdisciplinary interventions via the RCP. Provides skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment plan, demonstrates and teaches staff, and/or self-care to residents and families. Documents in the clinical record all conferences and telephone calls to disciplines involved in the residents plan of care. Participates in the development of relevant policies and procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in NursingCurrent New York State license as a Registered NurseAdvance training in wound care as verified through wound care certificate from recognized national/state training programOne to two years experience as a clinical nurse and experience in a long term care, preferredMust be able to read, write and speak English and Bilingual skills helpfulAble to work weekends (flexible hours)Computer knowledge sufficient to access data, run reports, update clinical programsMin:USD $100,000.00/Yr.
