Work hours: Full-Time - Mid Shift - 1p - 1a - 36 Hours/ Week - 3/12 hour shifts a week

Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferredCLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)RN - Current Registered Nurse required Upon HireBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly requiredACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hireCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hireENPC - Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire requiredTNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of hire requiredPALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire1-year of Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.2-3 years ER experience preferred.What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

Assesses the patientPlans the care of the patientIntervenes as appropriateEvaluates the effectiveness of interventionsIncorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for informationMaintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
