OverviewAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Emergency Department Registered Nurses to support the VA San Diego Healthcare System located at 3350 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92161. Multiple shift schedules are available. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.The Emergency Department RNs are willing to work cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignments and locations. They ensure caring for the Veteran his/her priority while in the work setting and demonstrates customer service principles in all aspects of work. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesEmergency Department RN services shall be provided in accordance with the policies of the VA healthcare system where assigned. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient careAssesses, plans, implements and evaluates care based on age-specific componentsAssumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of care, patient and family education, patient self-management after discharge, and supporting factors that impact customer satisfactionConsiders all characteristics of the individual, including age and life stages, state of health, race and culture, values, and previous experiencesAdministers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelinesInfluences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary teamPoises and articulates in communicating with people of varied educational levels and varied ethnic backgroundsWorks cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignmentsParticipates in unit/program level quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programsQualificationsCompletion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program (BSN or ADN)Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of ColumbiaAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAmerican Health Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationTwo (2) years of recent Emergency Room RN work experience is requiredNo sponsorship available Pay Range: $60.00 - $59.51 hourlyAll candidates must be able to:Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shiftLift up to 50 lbs from floor to waistLift up to 20 lbsCarry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distancePush/pull with 30 lbs of forceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
