Plumber
for a full-time maintenance position in the Alvin/ Chocolate Bayou, TX area.
Primary responsibilities for candidate would include: changing water filters, repairing/replacing flush valves, backflow testing/repair, underground domestic water and fire water repairs, service work, sewer drain cleaning and safety shower repair/replacement.
Journeyman or Master Plumber license - REQUIRED
40 Hours, subject to overtime and callouts as needed
DISA drug and background screen required
Candidates need to have at least two years of experience in these fields. Backflow testing certification is preferred. All potential candidates need to submit a resume with listed certifications and proven experience prior to hiring for site verification.Physical Involvement:
Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds structures, etc.; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correctionTurner Industries is an equal employment opportunity employer.
