Sazerac Barrel Select —recognized globally as the premier source for custom barrel-aged spirits and unforgettable experiences. This leadership role will be at the forefront of driving volume and profit growth through brand integration, consumer experiences, and seamless coordination with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Brand Building:

Lead Growth:

Spearhead the development of strategies that turn consumer and customer challenges into opportunities, positioning Sazerac Barrel Select as the go-to brand for personalized barrel-aged spirits.

Execute Winning Plans:

Own the execution of communication and annual marketing plans that engage consumers and build passionate brand fans worldwide.

Expand Market Presence:

Work closely with sales teams to drive demand and sales volume in key markets, ensuring alignment with brand and financial targets.

Innovation & Business Development:

Drive New Initiatives:

Identify and prioritize high-value new business development (NBD) opportunities, from product launches to digital experiences. Oversee these projects from concept to execution, ensuring they’re delivered on time and within budget.

Continuous Improvement:

Utilize the PDS (Performance Development System) to foster personal growth and identify areas for self-improvement, documenting key learnings and practical applications.

Collaboration & Execution:

Cross-Functional Coordination:

Lead efforts across departments—Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Finance—to ensure that projects are managed effectively, and progress is made toward long-term growth goals.

Team Leadership:

Organize and lead project teams, ensuring the right members are in place, priorities are clear, and milestones are met.

Creative Oversight:

Deliver clear, strategic briefs to internal and external partners, guiding the execution of advertising, promotions, packaging, and PR to achieve commercial objectives.

Financial Management:

P&L Ownership:

Manage the Profit & Loss statement to meet annual targets. Constantly challenge costs and operating systems to improve overall sales and profitability.

Monetization Strategies:

Develop and implement strategies to maximize the value of barrel visits and program members.

Brand Equity & Consumer Engagement:

Build Awareness:

Create engaging programs that connect with Barrel Select fans, strengthening brand equity and raising awareness among consumers and retailers.

Customer-Centric Marketing:

Focus on delivering consumer-centric experiences that foster loyalty and create raving fans.

Qualifications/RequirementsTo be successful in the role, you’ll need the following requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required

Preferred:

MBA

Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications

Experience:

3+ years of Brand Management experience

5+ years of Business experience

3+ years of P&L management experience

3+ years managing an Advertising Agency

1+ year of Global Brand Marketing experience

1 year experience with the three-tier distribution system (preferred)

1 year experience in New Business Development (preferred)

Implementation or project management experience

Budgeting, planning, and/or financial analysis experience

Skills:

Strong analytical and technical skills

Excellent oral and written communication abilities

Strong computer proficiency and comfort with technology and systems

Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Attention to detail

Additional Requirements:

A valid driver's license

Ability to work remotely

Willingness to travel (up to 25%

Compensation : Placement within the salary range is calculated based on years of directly relatable experience for the position. The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel, or cell phone reimbursement.
