Temp/Casual (0001) Office Assistant

Administrative Support (60%)* Schedule and attend meetings; take notes and disseminate the minutes* Assist in writing reports about program activities* Edit, proof and finalize reports, as needed* Monitor departmental email account and voicemail* Send written communications and memorandums, as needed* Create documents, as needed* Serve as liaison with partner organizations* Track and analyze data* Liaise with external partners

Communications (40%)* Listserv management and communication* Departmental website maintenance development and maintenance* Work with college communications professionals to advertise center programs

Required Qualifications:High school diploma/GED and four years related office. Training/education may be substituted for someyears of experience.

Computer experience including databases, spreadsheets, word processing and email. Proficiency withMicrosoft Word, Excel, and Gmail.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience managing multiple office responsibilities simultaneously; complete tasks that requireattention to detail, prioritize workload, work independently, follow-up and meet deadlines.Organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.Written and verbal communication skills.Experience working with diverse populations and respect for various cultures.Customer service skills.Web design experience or maintenance
