Enterprise Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Network Engineer to join our Information Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for for the delivery and operation of our enterprise network providing connectivity for our data center control networks. This position will be responsible for the installation and support of network topologies on a primarily Cisco and Palo Alto based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive network support and management of enterprise networks including but not limited to hardware, operating systems and business applications. Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Resolution of assigned ticketsParticipation in change management processManage stake holder expectationsConfigure routers/switches/firewallsIsolate and correct issues with routers/switches/firewallsMonitor and manage bandwidth utilizationTroubleshoot and resolve network issuesMaintain internal network documentation (IP addresses, switched ports, etc. used by customers)Use best practices for network security both in the wired and wireless environmentsUpdate internal routers/switches software as requiredPerform network support to internal stake holdersAssist and/or manage implementations as necessaryDetermine Communication solutions between our various sitesOther duties as assignedQualifications:
2-3 years practical network engineering experience in an Enterprise Network Engineering role.CCNA level understanding and experience with routing and switching technologies.Experience with Arista Network Switches (Not required but good to have)Experience and demonstrable technical skills in the following areas:
IPv4; IPv6BGP; EIGRP; OSPFSTP; LACP; L2/L3 SwitchingPort Security, Traffic Storm PreventionCisco Catalyst, ISR, and Nexus Series DevicesPalo Alto Firewalls (Focusing on LAN Centric -East/West- Security; User/Group/Role based Security Models)Ruckus Wireless
Familiarity and understanding of endpoints such as the following:
Servers/Storage/WorkstationsSecurity - Bio Readers, Cameras, Control PanelsBuilding Management - BACNet Converters, Power Meters, HVAC ControllersFamiliarity and understanding of monitoring, testing and packet capturing tools such as the following: Solarwinds, ForeScout CounterACT, IBM Qradar, Wireshark
IP Address ManagementAbility to maintain documentation including creation of Visio drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong understanding of troubleshooting techniques.Strong project management skills.Mature organization and time management skills.Excellent customer service skills.Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.Excellent interpersonal, communication, decision making, presentation and organizational skillsStrong can-do attitude in a time sensitive operational environmentEducation/Certifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field required but Master's degree preferred. May substitute equivalent work-related experience for degree.CCNA required. CCNP preferred.Work Environment:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Ability to lift 40+ pounds.Travel is required on occasion as dictatated by project loadThis position requires typical weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance, at times after hours work may required to meet business and customer needs.This position requires participation in on call rotation to provide 24/7 supportSome travel required. Some nights/weekends required for maintenance in change management windows.Every position requires certain physical capabilities.
