Description

The 3D Data and Software Support Specialist reports directly to the SITECH Support Manager and is responsible for leading all aspects of 3D modeling services, training, support activities, and customer consulting within the SITECH Intermountain dealership. In addition, the 3D Data and Software Support Specialist will become certified to work with 3D design data and manage the outsourcing of specific data services. To be authorized to work with the Trimble software suite, the individual must have a background in civil engineering, construction management, and/or software engineering and must have extensive knowledge of Civil CAD programs and/or Trimble Business Center.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The 3D Data and Software Support Specialist builds 3D models for civil construction projects that utilize GPS machine control hardware and software. They are responsible for ensuring that the models are accurate and complete, as this is essential for the success of machine control technologyCollection and management of client data for use in data prep servicesProvide quotes to clients for 3D data prep servicesPrepare surface models for use with construction stakeout and machine guidance systemsDrive revenue by providing data prep services for customersCreate and provide training and materials for qualified customers on software provided by SITECH IntermountainSome travel is requiredRequired Qualifications:

Have excellent safety recordExperience with Trimble Business CenterStrong problem-solving aptitudeSelf-starter and detail orientedExperience with civil construction workflowsMicrosoft Office - Outlook, Word and ExcelExperience with earthwork takeoff proceduresExcellent computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:
