Job Description
Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirementsPrepare work to be estimated by gather proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentsResolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationPresent prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive informationPrepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsPerform conceptual, schematic, and design development budgetsReview plans for consistency and accuracyManage all levels of take-offs while applying unit pricesCollaborate with others on the pre-construction team to successfully bid jobsDevelop into a leader within the estimating teamMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an EstimatorExperience estimating multiple projectsB.S. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred although not mandatory with solid experience.Flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and time lines through analytical problem-solving.Able to work independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environmentDisplays superior written and oral communication skillsWhat's on Offer
