TS/SCI Cleared Network Engineer

is seeking a TS/SCI Senior Network Engineer working on a small team of 3-5 to build out a multi-site Wide Area Network to meet high-performance computing requirements. Experience with integrating automation into network management is expected via Git, CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Terraform & Ansible. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in technology and 10-15 years of experience. This position is compatible with Work From Home, with expectation of weekly travel to our clients Ohio office & government site in Dayton Ohio. Infrequent travel (monthly) will be necessary to DC and St. Louis government sites. Availability is desired within 2-4 weeks. Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Required Skills & Experience

Active US DoD TS/SCI clearance

3+ years experience provisioning and managing Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto) and Intrusion Prevention / Detection Systems (IPS/IDS)

1+ years of experience with Amazon Web Service design or equivalent certification (AWS CSA/CSP/Networking Specialty/etc.)

2+ years of experience with networking tools and protocols such as IPTtables, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), QUAGGA (a routing software suite), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)

2+ years of experience with RedHat based distribution (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky/etc.) network administration

1+ years of professional experience using automation tooling such as Terraform & Ansible

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

In-scope Counter Intelligence (CI) Polygraph.

1+ year of experience with pipeline driven Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery / Configuration Management (GitOps) using Gitlab

Expertise navigating Authority to Operate and Risk Management Framework per NIST 800-53

Familiarity with enterprise processes for Firewall Change Requests (FCRs), Security Impact Determinations (SIDRs) and Change Requests in ServiceNow workflow systems
