GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONThe Infrastructure Business Analyst is a unique role within the Information Technology Infrastructure department. The role is required to understand technology infrastructure concepts and this individual will work with key stakeholders to identify and understand their requirements, evaluates findings from multiple sources, and translates gathered information into actionable project documentation and technical diagrams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborates with business users from various groups to understand their needs and coordinates with project team on solutions to solve the business challenges effectively.Gathers user requirements from multiple sources and analyzes them to create a set of project documents. Reviews and revises project documents as needed.Creates project scope document, functional and non-functional requirements document, and other project documents utilizing company templates to ensure consistency and completeness across projects.Works closely with the project teams including developers, project managers, and other team members to ensure requirements are understood and met with the project deliverables.Creates communications and maintains documentation including standards and policies, user guides, and runbooks and ensures they are reviewed regularly and up to date with the latest changes.Works with project managers to facilitate project stand ups and status meetings, updates management reporting presentations, and adjusts project deliverable timelines throughout the project lifecycle.Identifies business processes and roles and translates those into workflow diagrams. Creates and maintains these workflow diagrams as needed.Collaborates with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external vendors to ensure documented project requirements are clear, understood and met.Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Software Skills Required:Basic Understanding ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) processesStrong Understanding / knowledge of IT hardware components, technologies, and applicationsIntermediate: Sensei Beacon PPM, MS Project/Project Web App, SharePoint, MS Teams, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/TypingBasic: Financial Management, Accounting
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degreeFour years related experience.
