This 21 bed unit is a great place to become an expert generalist, Certified Chemo nurse and an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) as well as a Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN).The staff and nurses on 5E are highly skilled, motivated, and committed to excellence. We strive to provide safe, quality care by maintaining a patient-centered approach and leveraging multi-disciplinary collaboration. The cytoreductive surgery was developed at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. The 5E Nurses also provide nationally certified care to our bariatric surgical patient population. Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.
