In this role, you will lead business engagements to support strategic planning, process reengineering, and the implementation of efficient business, financial, and operational systems workflows aligned with organizational initiatives and project requirements. As an SAP Finance Application Lead, you will leverage your deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and robust IT and finance experience to drive system improvements and ensure optimal performance.Responsibilities:Oversee the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA Finance systems.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into optimal SAP solutions.Participate in strategic business planning with Finance and IT teams to develop enhancement options addressing specific functional needs or issues.Lead functional and technical teams throughout all phases of project lifecycles.Conduct comprehensive training sessions for end-users on new processes and solutions.Facilitate regular meetings with project teams, stakeholders, and external consultants to monitor progress and resolve any issues.Optimize business processes using SAP S/4HANA Finance to improve operational efficiency.Perform routine diagnosis, troubleshooting, resolution, and testing of the SAP S/4HANA system.Ensure adherence to best practices for system security and data integrity.Ability to work off business hours and weekends as needed in a demanding environmentQualifications:Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.A minimum of 6 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.Experience in a consultative or IT role involving complex, large-scale SAP project implementations with a global user base.Strong knowledge of SAP table structures, queries, Report Painter, and Report Writer.Expertise in system configuration, testing, user support, and troubleshooting.In-depth understanding of financial business processes, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, tax, treasury, consolidation, planning, and budgeting.Demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder management.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Profound ability to solve complex problems and drive projects to completion.Desired Characteristics:Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management to drive informed business decisions.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to convey information clearly and tailor messages to diverse audiences to achieve desired outcomes.Results-driven with the ability to anticipate change and respond swiftly to priorities.Additional InformationFor California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $124,330 to $186,670. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
