The Team:Our Application and Infrastructure Security team at S&P Global is responsible for driving the security strategy, implementing robust platform security controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. As a member of our team, you will provide strategic insights, lead security initiatives, and collaborate with business unit leaders and engineering teams to safeguard the integrity of our applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities and Impact:The Head of Security Architecture and Engineering will build and manage our Security Architecture & Engineering workstream and ensure fit-for-purpose enterprise security solutions are designed and implemented. These enterprise security services will protect our most important assets – our customers and our intellectual property - whilst ensuring that our network, infrastructure systems, applications, products, and information are securely monitored and protected.Leading a regional team of security architecture experts, providing a supportive environment that attracts and retains talent.Proactively providing security leadership and guidance to business divisions, projects, and 3rd parties.Developing and leading the implementation of security blueprints for the design, build, and maintenance of products, connected platforms and devices, IT infrastructure, and IT applications.Implementing security best practices on cyber elements of business and IT-led initiatives.Leading security engineering operations to industrialize world-class security solutions, ensuring cyber protection is continually reviewed and improved to reflect emerging new threats.Leading the creation of solution designs that underpin our broad-ranging global cyber security transformation program.Managing vendor and supplier commercial relationships, continuously exploring and implementing cost-effective measures to optimize security investment.Cultivating core relationships between internal stakeholders and external partners.Working with Information Security leadership to contribute effectively to our Cyber Security Governance Framework.Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive security tasks and processes, reducing manual intervention and improving response times.Driving continuous improvement of automated security processes and tools, leveraging feedback and metrics for optimization.

Compensation/Benefits Information:S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $152,600 to $250,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan and additional S&P Global benefits.

What We’re Looking For:Basic Required Qualifications:Extensive experience:

Strong background in security architecture and engineering, with several years of experience in designing and implementing security solutions. Deep understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in cybersecurity.Leadership skills:

Proven leadership abilities, including experience managing and leading a global team of security professionals.Technical expertise:

Comprehensive knowledge of security technologies, tools, and frameworks, proficient in security architecture, network security, cloud security, and application security.Strategic thinking:

Ability to develop and implement security blueprints and solutions that align with the organization's goals and objectives.Communication and stakeholder management:

Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
