Emergency Medicine Physician in Ottumwa, Iowa

Ottumwa Regional Health Center is a 120-bed facility with a 17-bed emergency department (ED) and an annual volume of 20,000 visits. The center is equipped with advanced practice clinician (APC) coverage for 12 hours daily and benefits from a robust hospitalist program. As a Level IV trauma center, the ED sees moderate acuity cases and has an admission rate of 9%. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech, and the ED is supported by scribes and an EMS base station.
