Lead the Original Production team through all stages of production (prep, physical and post)Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including Business and Legal Affairs, Finance and Public Relations, to align efforts and achieve organizational objectivesCollaborate with Finance and Content Strategy teams to achieve annual budget objectivesRefine and improve production methodologies, budgets and timelines to ensure the best possible quality of production and feasibility for the budgetEvaluate proposed external production teams and leads to determine their capabilities, expertise and abilities to deliver high-quality contentWork closely with creative teams (Tubi creative executives, producers, directors, etc.) to provide guidance on how to best support their creative visionWork closely with production companies and producers to ensure feasible production plans to ensure safety, efficiency and conforming to budgetsOversee the delivery of finished projects on time and on budgetEnsure that all stages of production are utilizing the best available technology and conforming to all tech specificationsWork closely with all relevant unions, guilds and internal labor relations attorneys on all related mattersCommunicate details of production to internal departmentsUpdate records of projects throughout all stages of production from prep through deliveryExplore production opportunities with soundstages, governmental production offices, animation houses, visual effects studios, etc.Communicate with regional tax credit and incentive offices to evaluate rebate opportunitiesWork closely with Tubi Finance team to update on budget and breakageManagement of the Original Production teamCollaborate effectively with internal stakeholdersYour Background:

Bachelor's degree or higher. Film school degree is a plusMinimum 12 years experience in all stages of production (prep, physical and post) at a major studio, network, streaming platform or production companyThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience in live production environments, demonstrating a proven track record of managing and executing broadcasts or live events with a high level of technical and operational proficiencySignificant experience on-set in a production capacity (including line producing and/or executive in charge of physical production)Must have up to date knowledge of film-related technologies and best practices, including detailed technical knowledge related to on-set production (cameras, lenses, etc.) and post-production (tech specs, software, etc.)Extensive experience with post production processes, including but not limited to: dailies, editorial, color correction, visual effects, compositing, graphics, titling, sound mixing and editorial, audio laybacks, localization, picture and audio restoration, film processing, digital media, duplication, QC, visual effects, etc.Demonstrable track record in production leadership, showcasing outstanding managerial skills and strategic visionExpertise in visual effects is a plusMaintain a strong knowledge of tax credits and production incentives globallyMaintain a strong knowledge of policies and procedures with all relevant unions and guilds. Strong relationships with guild offices is preferredStrong experience with Movie Magic and/or similar production budgeting softwareExperience overseeing production on film and/or television production at all budget levelsExperience with live, scripted and unscripted productions is requiredStrong Excel, Powerpoint, Airtable and Google Workspace experienceFlexibility and willingness to pivot to new priorities in a fast-paced and growing environmentWillingness to travel to productions worldwide as requiredExceptional management skillsAbility to multitask across dozens of projects in a fast-paced environmentGenuine curiosity, significant attention to detail, and strong desire to contribute to the success of the team through data-driven analysisCalifornia Compensation
