The office is currently remodeling, with automated phoropters being added to each exam lane. In addition, every exam room will have an updated slit lamp with photo and video recording capabilities. All this being done to improve communication with patients and to enhance the patient experience.About the Optometrist OpeningSan Ramon Family Optometry is seeking an Optometrist passionate about providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for all patients. In this role, you will provide full-scope optometry including in-depth eye exams; diagnosing and treating eye conditions; prescribing glasses; and specialty contact lenses.The current office hours are 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on alternating Saturdays.
The position will be a part-time or full-time position!
A candidate with additional education, experience, and certifications or looking to explore special interests to expand the patient base will be a complimentary addition to the practice.To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and be willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.Minimum qualifications include:Optometry license in the state of CaliforniaContact lens fittingsGlaucoma certificationTherapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents certificationElectronic health record chartingPreferred experience in private practice (not required)The practice is offering the following benefits for part-time employment status:Competitive base pay401(k) with company matchPaid sick days, PTO for full-time employmentContinuing education allowanceWeekly staff recognition and educational dinnersTeam outings, potlucks, celebrations, and holiday parties
