These developers will participate in building and modernizing web-based applications to support our client projects, work with technical leads to develop and enforce standards, collaborate with a development team, and follow solutions as they are developed through production deployment. The client team performs custom software development to modernize siloed, legacy applications using modular design standards. The team works closely with clients and other contractors to ensure the performance and reliability of public-facing, mission-critical applications.Essential Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with others to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholder needs.Design backend and frontend web-based software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.Analyze and design databases within a solution stack, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.Apply and generate best practices in multiple technical domains using various technology products and services.Capture and share best practice knowledge with the internal technical teams.Technologies You Will Use

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline9 + years of software engineering experience5 + years of experience with:Developing backend software using the C# programming languageDeveloping frontend software using HTML/JS/CSS and RazorBuilding web applications using technologies including Microsoft ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core MVC, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET Core Web API3 + years experience with .NET Core (or .NET 5+)3 + years experience with dependency injectionDesigning and developing REST APIsORM technologies such as Microsoft's Entity FrameworkSQL database modeling and query optimizationUnderstanding development design patterns and when to apply themGitWriting unit testsBig Bonus Points if you have:9 + years experience with the above technologiesExperience with JavaScript frameworks especially ReactProficiency with JIRAExperience implementing security best practicesExperience analyzing application performance bottlenecks and developing optimizationsExperience with Python and TypescriptExcellent communication skillsContinuous learning mindsetJob Requisition # 38782
