Role Summary

As a Sr. Staff Program Manager at Rivian, you will help us continue to surprise and delight our customers by taking a leading role in managing the delivery of our latest software releases. You will be responsible for delivering high quality vehicle software releases to external customers as well as supporting new product development initiatives and production ramp. This is a highly cross-functional role and you will have the ability to deep-dive into many technical domains as well as work closely with software leaders and the vehicle program team to impact and drive the software roadmap.

Responsibilities

Be the main point of contact to commercial customers for vehicle softwareScope and plan software that impacts changes for commercial vehiclesSupport consumer vehicle programs as neededAlign software release plans to company milestonesDrive software-hardware integration effortsCoordinate verification test plansCoordinate cross-functional dependencies outside of the software organizationPrioritize and drive issues to closureProvide the program team and executive management progress updatesConduct healthy escalations in advance of a deliverables going out of boundsIdentify and execute continuous process improvements

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related technical fields10+ years of Technical or Engineering Program Management experienceExperience leading the development and launch of at least 3 new products into productionProven experience delivering complex projects in short timelinesHigh level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complexExcellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skillsExpert in agile and waterfall development process using Jira and other program management tools

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants:

$196,000.00 - $266,000.00 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
