Role and ResponsibilitiesThis person will lead a team of product managers to drive initiatives that define the next gen. engaging and high-converting experiences for B2C e-commerce for Samsung products including flagship mobile phones, leading home entertainment products, home appliances, accessories, and other products.

Internalize and deeply understand Samsung’s mission and strategies, as well as the mission and objectives of the eCommerce team.

Distill vision and strategy for the team, get all members of the cross-functional team excited, lead and influence teams to implement ‘never been done before’ features and initiatives.

Be data-centric to make informed product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, customer behavior or other business metrics. Solicit and embrace critical feedback.

Drive innovation, definition, deliverables planning (roadmap), and design of entirely new products and features to deliver against team and company goals.

Drive cross-functional team to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals.

Drive definition of and execution against product go-to-market plan, including phasing and training.

Provide guidelines on product specifications to the product team, review and provide feedback on product roadmap and KPI metrics.

Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into the product development process.

Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.

Has strong technical and analytical skills and is proficient in Confluence, JIRA, Smartsheet/Airtable, Tableau/Google Analytics/Firebase or other analytics tools.

Skills and QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or computer science or equivalent.

10+ years of experience delivering highly successful experiences/campaigns or both, with your fingerprints all over them which you’re extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished.

Master's degree in business, technical, or equivalent field is preferred, along with 8+ years of experience.

Having prior experience in eCommerce order management, order fulfillment, inventory/supply chain management and delivery promise management is a huge plus.

Having prior experience with partner integrations – not just limited to final mile carrier integrations, ERP/WMS integrations will be a huge plus.

Stellar design instincts and product taste.

A high bar across the board - from your contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on.

A “leader” personality - biased toward action, great collaborator, and master disambiguator/simplifier - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery.

Experienced in leading teams in a fast-paced work environment.

The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives.

Physical/Mental Demands and Working Conditions

The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:

Work is generally performed in an office environment.

Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.

The movement and transportation of equipment, most of the time under 25 pounds.

Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, fatigue, unpaid overtime, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, language barriers, and business management stress.

Machines, tools, equipment, and work aids representative and commonly associated with PCs, printers, and office work areas.

Frequently works additional hours beyond normal schedule.

Under very little direct supervision with a high level of responsibility to apply general policies and guidelines where decisions are seldom monitored and consequences of decisions adversely affect operating results and management decisions. Complete access to confidential company data where disclosure may jeopardize the company’s competitive position.

Salary InformationThe salary range for this role, for candidates based in NYC/California, is expected to be between $265,500 and $280,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
