Monitor, direct, and motivate day-to-day interactions between the account team and clients, actively nurturing strong relationships with existing and possible clients. This role combines strategic and hands-on experience by delivering engaging, outstanding ideas and work. Work closely with the account team to drive tactical projects through the agency and meet delivery requirements/deadlines. Act as a senior solution-oriented manager who thrives on developing lasting relationships between the client and agency teams. You will have consistent client contact and operate at a high level in all aspects of account management including:Be Accountable and ResponsibleProvide strategic leadership and tactical ownership for the Account Management teamCreate relationships with clients to facilitate the overall needs of the client and agencyUtilize experience to identify additional business needs and implement solutionsIncorporate senior staff from account management with other departments as project objectives or issues warrantMaintain working knowledge of MERGE health solutions and resources and recognize/act upon opportunities.These are the qualifications we’re looking for5-6 years of account management experience within an advertising agency and/or consulting firm in the Life Science industry - Patient/Caregiver and HCP marketing, especially in rare disease is a plusBachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experienceAbility to evaluate competitive communications across categories, patients, products, etc.Experience in building and growing omnichannel marketing across multiple channels including personal and nonpersonal tactics, paid media, affiliate marketing, email, SEO, analytics, audience strategies, and brand strategiesAbility to run projects seamlessly from pre-kickoff discussions to finalizing tactics to completionWillingness to roll sleeves up in a highly collaborative environmentAdvanced client management skills, especially as it relates to setting and managing client expectationsSuperior professional communication and presentation skillsCommitment to the client, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilityCompensation: $90,000 - $105,000Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training, and experience. MERGE’s career ladders reflect department growth from Associate through Partner levels, with details of roles and responsibilities associated with each level. Growth from one level to the next occurs when employees master their role and are promoted into the next level, generally during salary review cycles.We offer the following:
