HealthOverviewThe Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Planned Parenthood of the North Country New York, Inc. (PPNCNY) will lead the organization to provide the highest quality healthcare, education, and advocacy to ensure the right and ability of all individuals to manage their own sexual and reproductive health. The impact of PPNCNY’s patient services and programming for the individuals and communities of the North Country is direct, immediately evident, and often life-changing. In addition to oversight of PPNCNY’s business operations, patient services, and programming, the engagement in advocacy and community organizing makes for an exciting, challenging, and multifaceted role.ResponsibilitiesEnsure ongoing access and development of revenue streams to support stability in staffing, patient care, and community education.Establish relationships and build trust with people at all levels of the organization to continue to build a culture of trust and unity.Meet with existing donors and grantors, influential community members, partner organizations, and legislative allies.Provide overall leadership, management, and planning of PPNCNY collaborating with staff and the Board to fulfill the mission of the organization.Serve as the chief spokesperson for the affiliate, representing PPNCNY to donors, PPFA, local and government agencies, and the community at large.QualificationsBachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. Experience in reproductive healthcare, nonprofit management, rural healthcare, and/or healthcare administration or a related field.Minimum of five (5) years professional experience in a management position or as a member of a senior management team.Strong oral, written, and digital communication skills; adaptable communication style.Fund development experience required, especially with local, state, and federal public entities and foundations.Experience building and developing relationships and partnerships with community stakeholders, government agencies, and donors.HOW TO APPLYInterested candidates can submit materials via the link at the top of this page.
