Job Summary & Responsibilities
Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.
Manage and lead end-to-end logistics (warehousing, transportation, 3PL, etc.) across Onto all business units, interfacing internally and with logistics suppliers. Oversee the entire transportation, inventory management, and distribution.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure logistics performance and identify areas for improvement with customer success as the ultimate goal. Develop performance management cadence with logistics suppliers such as QBRs, monitor and improve the KPIs for cost, delivery and inventory accuracy.
Successfully define and execute 3PL strategy to exceed/meet customer SLAs for parts delivery and storage.
Manage and optimize transportation networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Create a roadmap for cost reduction to achieve year-over-year cost reductions in overall logistics spend including leading the development of landed cost models.
Manage the direct logistics team and extended 3PL personnel. Identify and resolve logistical problems and bottlenecks such as in-transit, delayed shipments, and early warning of delayed shipments.
Maintain strong knowledge of the company's products and services and all industry standards and practices.
Qualifications
BS or MS Degree in a finance, science or engineering discipline.
A minimum of 15 years of semiconductor OEM experience.
A proven track record of establishing strong logistic partner relationships with consistent focus on meeting customer commitments.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate and drive CIPs.
Ability to use data interface solutions such as Tableau, BI, etc. Strong Excel skills.
Experience in leading, influencing and working with cross-functional teams.
Ability to hold various stakeholder groups accountable and escalate appropriately.
Experience in leading people and teams establishing processes, procedures, metrics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present to C-Suite.
Ability to lead people across diverse and cultural backgrounds.
Able to travel up to 20% of time as required.
