About The Role

As a

North America Sales Director

at Gisou, you will be responsible for:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue across multiple markets and channels, with a focus on Sephora NA, Kohls and other key retail partners. Recommend adjustments to sales strategies based on performance and market insights.Set and achieve sales targets in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives. Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual targets are met.Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth as well as potential threats.Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports to cross-functional teams, providing insights and recommendations.Partner with inventory planning to develop and build budgets and seasonal stock & sales plans. Partner on monthly forecast updates, by SKU, by channel.Own delivery of monthly net sales forecasts. Partner with retailers to sell in additional revenue, as needed, to ensure retailers sell in and sell outs are aligned to achieve optimal inventory levels in order to hit sales plans.Partner with Global Sales, Marketing, OPS, and PD on all NPD forecasting and benchmarking.Work closely with planning and OPS on all account-related inventory management processes including RTVs, T&D, markdowns, and disco’s (dispositions), with particular focus on proactively minimizing returns and DIFs.Collaborate with retail partners and cross-functional teams on the development of compelling and effective 360 campaigns.Ensure optimal product placement within retailers and secure exposures across B&M and digital platforms.Own and manage retailer meeting cadence, agendas, and recaps.Collaborate on the development of the sampling strategy and ensure we have the right product, in the right place and the right time.Oversee VM process from kickoff to post-installation feedback. Work closely with creative, marketing, PD, and the external fixture company on seasonal updates.Collaborate closely with the field sales & education team on brand focuses, educational needs, and eventing. Partner on large scale events for the brand in the NA region.Build and nurture strong relationships with cross-functional partners, both internal and external.Mentor and manage the Sales Brand Manager, providing guidance, leadership, development, and fostering a high-performance culture.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum 8 years’ experience in relevant work.Proven track record of building strategic relationships and influencing retail partners; Must have experience with Sephora and/or Ulta.Must be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.Strong presentation skills.Strong business acumen and financial aptitude.Strong reporting and analytical skills.Achievement oriented.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Is Customer focused – Wants to give the client what they want!Commercially minded and profit-driven.Strong attention to detail, collaborative and results driven.Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities within the business.Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
