to join our dynamic Network and Unified Communications Architecture team of network and UC engineers in Alexandria, VA. The team provides IT hardware and software to support the goals of the contract, including performance based C4IM services, product support, and O&M for both legacy and newly installed systems.In this role, the

Technical Project Manager

is responsible for planning, integrating, and documenting installations of voice and video systems supporting government Command and Control (C2) conference rooms and video-teleconferencing endpoints. They are responsible for initiating, planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting a variety of small and mid-level IT projects. They are also required to possess a breadth and in-depth knowledge related to advanced multi-level audio/video conference room design, software, networking, information assurance, and cyber security.The

Technical Project Manager

will be responsible for but not limited to:Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities associated with conference room installs, network upgrades, server deployments, application upgrades, and life-cycle replacement of IT product lines.Directly supervise individual contributors in technical positions and/or entry level professionals.Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to and review the work of assigned staff.Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects for communication and reporting.Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including the integration team, end users, and key program management stakeholders.Defines project scope and objectives verified against requirements and task order directives.Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables for physical security, software upgrades, and vendor specialty products.May supervise professional and technical personnel performing in their regular disciplines such as mobile asset support, COMSEC, cyber security, and operational testing of mobile platforms.May serve as the primary or assistant technical and management interface for the company, customer, and senior staff.Prepares and approves Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols and other technical documentation.** This role is approved for Hybrid support, Flexible for occasional telework - must be local to work location. May require up to 10% travel, based on customer needs**Qualifications

Required Qualifications:An active/current TS/SCI security clearance and to maintain the clearance.Bachelor's (or equivalent) with eight (8+) years of related experience; or a Master's with six (6+) years of related experience; or a PhD with three (3+) years of related experience. 12 years of relevant experience in the above-cited duties may be substituted in lieu of a completed higher education degree.Possess an active/current 8570.01M-compliant security certification (CompTIA Security+, CCNA-Security, etc), or ability to obtain within 6 months from start date.At least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.Knowledge of enterprise IT planning and migration.Must possess previous experience as a multi-disciplined engineer with project management experience in information system development through fielding.Requires a breadth and in-depth knowledge related to advanced multi-level audio/video conference room design, software, networking, information assurance, and cyber security.Experience and ability to supervise, coordinate, provide leadership to and review the work of assigned staff.Experience and ability to directly supervise individual contributors in technical positions and/or entry level professionals.Excellent technical writing and presentation skills.Strong ability to communicate and work well with others.Experience and ability to estimate staffing needs, assign work, recommend candidates for employment, makes recommendations for termination, conduct performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff and is responsible for the application of company policies.Desired Qualifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) qualification.Experience with DISA and DoD communication Teams.Experience with MS Project scheduling software.Familiarity with voice and video communication systems.Salary Range Estimates:

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
