The PositionYou will be a key member of the Business Agility Solutions team to drive commercial excellence through delivering strategic initiatives and optimizing business solutions.The Business Solutions Partner is responsible for developing and executing a forward-looking strategic vision, imperatives, and actionable tactics that align with Roche’s prioritized outcomes and adapt to the ever-evolving landscape of the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:Act as “think tank” for senior managementIdentify commercial excellence opportunities and devise winning strategies at corporate and business unit levelsDevelop tailored solutions for company-wide issues and build up organizational capabilitiesManage corporate and cross-functional projects (act as PMO); govern PMO process (charter, implementation planning, tracking, review reports); and take ownership to drive for execution excellence of strategic initiativesThis role will achieve the goal through possessing excellent project management skills and leading by example, having an agile mindset, and creating an environment that encourages high-performing squad teams to flourish and create value.
You Should Have:Educational Background:Bachelor/Master’s degree from a top-ranked universityMBA is a plusPreferred Working Experience:5-10 years of work experience in Pharmaceuticals MNCs with track records of outstanding performance and progressionCommercial experiences, i.e., sales and marketingConsulting experienceCore Competencies:Critical and strategic thinkingRobust business acumen in managing commercial operations and driving business growthExceptional leadership to propel project execution, with ability to navigate complex contextsStrong communication and influence skills across commercial team and regional/global stakeholdersExcellent stakeholder and people management skillsHighly effective in steering project teams and mobilizing resourcesFacilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolutionAbility to connect ideas, people, and initiatives across diverse functions, geographies, and disciplinesStrong team mentality with a collaborative mindsetStrategy and Analytics:Solid strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize multiple perspectives into constructive frameworksEffective application of analytics to extract insights and derive solutions (e.g., develop business cases, independently conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis)Independent delivery of high-quality project outputsProfessional proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelLanguage Skills:Fluent Business English, with outstanding business writing skillsFluent Mandarin Chinese and spoken English
