As an Account Executive, Existing Business team member, you’ll identify new opportunities for our clients to get the most out of Stripe by quickly understanding our clients’ needs, execute scaled sales strategies to close upsell and renewals with existing Stripe customers, and drive end-to-end campaigns to increase adoption of Stripe’s offerings.What you’ll doAs a Scaled AE, Existing Business, you will work with some of our highest potential accounts that are still early in their growth. We are looking for a well-rounded strategic operator who can build strong relationships with Stripe’s users, manage projects to engage with customers at scale and work effectively with cross-functional teams. If you’re hungry, persistent, adaptable and a great teammate, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesRun scaled campaigns to drive product adoption and manage full sales cycle through to closeManage contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations to retain and grow revenueSolve complex client needs working across product, billing, risk and operations teamsPartner closely with marketing to drive pipelineWho you areMinimum Requirements2 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably with commercial KPIs in a high growth tech organizationAbility to build strong rapport with clients, and a consultative sales approachStrong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex pricing and cost considerationsAbility to leverage data to make decisions, drive strategy and measure impactImpeccable prioritization skills and ability to effectively manage and execute against competing prioritiesMotivation and flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment where things change quicklyPreferred RequirementsAbility to understand the Stripe API and build great relationships with technical customersExperience with ExcelHybrid work at StripeOffice-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.Pay and benefitsThe annual US base salary range for this role is $146,400 - $219,600. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
