Senior Transportation Planner/ Project Manager , we'll count on you to:Pursue work as a project manager on a variety of transportation planning, aviation planning, and/or environmental/NEPA compliance projects.Lead projects, project tasks and delegate assignments to team members.Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline transportation planning, aviation planning, and/or environmental compliance projects.Prepare and lead participation in public information meetings and hearings.Ensure regular coordination across disciplines (e.g., engineering, transportation planning, resources, strategic communications, etc.).Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.Demonstrate extensive public participation, agency coordination, planning and programming experience.Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule.Mentor junior staff and facilitate on-the-job training.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field10 years related experienceA minimum of 5 years of project management experienceFamiliar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management softwareMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsA license/certificationPMP certificationFamiliar with Primavera P3 or SureTrak software preferred.Familiar with Prolog software preferred.Primary LocationIndustry : Highway + RoadSchedule : Full-timeEmployee Status : RegularBusiness Class : Transportation PlanningJob Posting : Sep 10, 2024At HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity.We are an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
