Description and RequirementsThe NA Director of Demand Planning is responsible for leading the end-to-end demand planning and forecast function for North America PCSD products. This position will be responsible for driving the overall demand planning strategy, optimizing supply & demand across products & segments, and ensuring alignment with sales and operational goals. This requires ability to influence and balance conflicting requirements/priorities (different stakeholder needs; optimized cost and supply; limit overstocking and shortages, and foremost, meet customer needs).

The position requires the ability to:

Lead and oversee a team of demand planning professionals, providing guidance in all aspects of demand planning.

Develop and implement near & long-term demand planning strategies and processes in support of sales campaign & aspirational goals across categories, segments, countries, and sources of supply.

Drive the demand planning function to continuously improve forecast accuracy and optimize supply / demand profile.

Be highly influential at NA leadership and WW level in product groups, GSC, IBP, supply and demand planning teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business management, sales, supply chain, product management, and finance to ensure accurate demand forecasts.

Utilize advanced forecasting tools and techniques to predict customer demand and ensure product availability.

Ability to translate market and demand insights to actionable plan.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a related field, with experience in a leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or similar.

Experience in the tech industry to better understand market dynamics and customer behavior.

Strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to link demand planning activities with financial outcomes.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills as well as ability to concisely present at the executive level.

Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving business results.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
