Job Summary:Disney is seeking a Manager that will play a key role in supporting the direct-to-consumer business, passionate about Disney+ International. They will lead the subscriber and revenue business planning and communication with the local team, identifying key business issues, providing solutions, and evaluating critical initiatives. Responsibilities include modeling subscriber growth, developing and supervising metrics to drive execution and operational improvement, identifying new business and product opportunities, assessing partnerships and deal structures, and more. The right person for this role has phenomenal problem-solving and analytical skills paired with outstanding strategic and conceptual thinking.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

Become the region point person and partner for key collaborators in both the regional team and centralized DTC teams, providing ongoing support to senior executives.

Lead the subscriber business planning process for the region with a full understanding of key underlying subscription metrics based on in-depth trending analysis and assessment of future initiatives.

Maintain a strong understanding of operating performance, major deals and transactions, and relevant trends in the streaming business.

Provide strategic mentorship and recommendations for new initiatives, including special promotions and product launches.

Work with the local team to understand and build partnerships into the subscriber forecast model.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

Minimum four years of professional work experience in media, tech, strategy, business planning, management consulting, or investment banking/private equity.

Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier school with a major in Finance, Economics or similar subject area.

Significant analytical and modeling experience including ingesting and analyzing large amounts of data.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to simplify complex matters for an executive audience.

Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment, managing many stakeholders.

Extremely organized with the ability to prioritize activities and manage timelines.

Self-motivated and comfortable working without mentorship in a fast-growing environment.

A passion for the media industry, international business, and content.

Familiarity with working in or with global, large organizations is a plus.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $123,000 to $165,000 per year. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
