Inventory Control ManagerBloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for an Inventory Control Manager seeking a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global MRP Systems, the Inventory Control Manager will support materials planning, scheduling and inventory activities. This position will optimize inventory through inventory improvement projects by implementing and managing effective inventory controls within the Operations and Supply Chain teams. The Inventory Control Manager will collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Master Scheduling, Commodity Management, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Finance and Information Technology in the completion of duties.We are looking for an experienced, confident professional with high energy, excellent communication and analytical skills and strong personal drive to succeed.Location:

This position will be located in San Jose, CA and will have minimal travel requirements.Role and Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage company-wide inventory controls.Lead recurring inventory review meetings with inventory owners (raw, WIP, FGI, New Product Introduction materials) with focus on control and optimization of inventory. Works with inventory owners to complete inventory analysis and action plans.Develop data-driven inventory thresholds by sub inventory including aged inventory (static vs. dynamic).Develop an automated mechanism to track and report inventory metrics as part of an organization-wide business and financial reviews.Develop phased program plans with milestones and deliverables for achievement of inventory program objectives.Reduce existing excess and obsolete inventory and develop the process and system enhancements to prevent future excess accumulation.Assess process and system gaps to formulate business requirement documents to drive system enhancements/automation. Work closely with IT to develop and implement automated inventory optimization solutions.Participates in and supports Supply Chain initiative programs including Cycle Count, Physical Inventory and Oracle MRP enhancements.Responsible to manage the MRP controls around inventory management related to but not limited to attributes, locators, sub-inventory and Item Master etc.Help manage the Global Forecasting connected to inventory optimization and S&D management.Participates in special projects and strategic initiatives, as requested.Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics.4+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience.4+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.3+ years of leading large complex programs experience.Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics.5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.5+ years of driving process improvements experience.5+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience.Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.APICS CPIM or APICS CSCP certification – preferred.About Bloom Energy:
