Job Description
Provide leadership to a team of fundraising professionals who are focused on qualifying, soliciting, and stewarding donors to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta; personally accountable for team and individual fundraising goals; implement donor segmentation strategic plan to support program growth and other development initiatives.
Experience
Minimum 7 years proven track record of fundraising and people management.Campaign experience.Not-for-profit leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare philanthropy and knowledge of Atlanta philanthropy.
Education
Bachelor’s degree.

Passion for child health and well-being and commitment to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta mission.Ability to represent Children’s in a credible, effective manner in the community.Proven track record of achieving operational excellence in a not-for-profit or healthcare fundraising setting.Ability to develop strong relationships with donors to harness their generosity to best meet the needs of Children’s.Strong leadership and communication skills to ensure team is well-informed and empowered in order to drive performance and exceed goals.Demonstrates the following leadership skills in accomplishing job duties and responsibilities: Business Acumen, Driven for Results, Lead Through Vision and Values, Build a Successful Team, Relationship-Building Skills, Strategic Decision Making, Collaboration and Communication, Planning and Organizing.
Job Responsibilities
Develops annual goals and implements action plans that maximize giving opportunities and exceed targets.Create and implement a system-wide donor segmentation strategy, develop plans for identifying and engaging potential prospects to grow the Children’s donor base.Build and maintain active portfolio of donors and prospects.Model professional fundraising excellence to direct reports and peers.Provide leadership, coaching and support to direct reports toward achieving departmental, team and individual goals.Demonstrate ability to cross-collaborate with other departmental and system-wide teams and displays a positive, mutually beneficial approach ability to work as a team and display a positive approach.Maintain up-to-date records on both prospects and donors via database.Represent Children’s appropriately at miscellaneous community functions, and by networking and nurturing new and existing relationships.Maintains close association and expert knowledge of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
