Our bank client is seeking to fill a Teller Supervisor role in the Chicago, IL market. This selected candidate will assume authority and responsibility for the Teller Department as an active member of the management team.This position includes a generous hourly rate of up to $25/hr and a full benefits package.
(This is not a remote position).Teller Supervisor responsibilities include:Supervision of the Teller Department.Cross-sell bank products and services based on customers’ needs.Maintain appropriate controls to protect the bank against fraudulent activity and losses.Resolve procedural questions referred by tellers, interpret company policy, and determine reasonableness in deviating from policy to provide equitable service to customers while maintaining a focus on branch profitability.Manage the image capture process and ensure transaction files are processed.Ensure tellers are knowledgeable and adhere to compliance, protect customer privacy, and reduce exposure to losses.Interview and onboard new personnel, provide on-the-job training, development, and feedback, schedule staff to ensure departments are optimally staffed, initiate disciplinary action as necessary, assess productivity, and prepare and conduct performance appraisals.Provide coaching and development to tellers.Perform teller duties as needed to meet the department’s needs.Who Are You?
