Summary:

The Security data analyst will be responsible for operational oversight providing leadership and expertise to the management of vulnerabilities, key technologies, and incident tracking and response. Development of well-defined policies and procedures related to security technologies will be a core responsibility of this position, including change control, monitoring, response, and reporting procedures. This position will develop and generate management reporting and detailed metrics to support and demonstrate continuous improvement of incident detection, response, and recovery. The Security data analyst works under the leadership of the Director of Security and is responsible for daily administration and maintenance of all security electronic systems by ensuring that the security services, whether new or existing, are installed, tested, and on boarded per the scope of work. The Security data analyst will be called upon to lead various improvement initiatives that are focused on improving the patient/employee experience, create operational efficiencies, provide operational innovation, and those that enable scale through improved performance standards, process mechanization, and further automation.

Responsibilities:

24/7 management and leadership of security operations team; including security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and reporting

Development and enhancement of security operations procedures and workflows

Conducts routine and sensitive security investigations as well as coordinates investigations with Risk Management., Legal Affairs, Department Heads and local, state and/or federal law enforcement agencies

Compile data analytics and reporting of security operations, including threat indicators, vulnerabilities, incident response metrics, etc. for the PPMC and ambulatories Campuses and disseminate reports as appropriate. This is to include annual security assessment for the PPMC and ambulatory campuses

Coordinate with appropriate vendors the installation, maintenance and repair of electronic security measures, including CCTV and electronic access control.

Assessing any security breaches and identifying vulnerabilities

Safety Duties: Maintain Dispatch Center readiness as the Incident Commander during Command Center activations. Provide orientation (Security, Fire Safety and Emergency Management, etc.) for newly hired staff as well as coordinate Active Shooter in-service training to high risk and special request departments. Coordinate emergency management drills, this includes but not limited to evacuation and fire drills. Monitors security process for Rapid Responses and EMS arrivals for emergency transports.

Coordinate Badge Center responsibilities at PPMC and ambulatory campus.

Maintain Standard Operating Procedure/ Policy and send all recommended updates through the change control process.

Oversees repair, quotes, and installations of electronic security measures, including CCTV, badging and electronic access control. Including but not limited to C-Cure, Genetec and Omnigo interacting with hospital departments and vendors

Communicates with the Assistant Director to keep them informed of areas of opportunity within the security systems; alert them to potential risks/challenges; and develop plans to improve

Facilitates the selection, implementation and support of Security information systems as well as the implementation and maintenance, software upgrades and rollout of application projects.

Troubleshoots application and process problems, and, sets-up, inventories, maintains and troubleshoots departmental devices (i.e. computers, laptops, iPads, phones, two way radios, etc).

Prepares, provides, and disseminates monthly statistical data on security incidents with appropriate printouts and graphs.

Works with 3rd party vendors on interfaces and application implementation and support.

Develop a relationship with Corporate IT and have an understanding of IT policies and procedures.

Ensure customer experience standards are met day to day. This requires someone that can keep a close eye on several different performance indicators in parallel, that can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, that can juggle priorities, and that can delegate and follow-up effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

Crisis Prevention Institute Certification preferred

Education or Equivalent Experience:

H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)

Bachelors in Criminal Justice, Cyber Security, Health Industry or other Security related field
