This will lead a team of experienced retail media in-house strategists in support of the Kraft Heinz portfolio of iconic brands.The Assoc. Director will lead our external agency partners in developing connection strategies rooted in consumer insight and understanding of needs, wants, and media behaviors that tie to our brand and customer jobs to be done. They will be responsible for delivering best-in-class go-to-market retail media investment strategies, innovative and breakthrough channel plans, unexpected media partnerships, learning plans, and ongoing process improvements. Additionally, they will collaborate with the full Connections strategy & investment team to identify integrated planning opportunities between retail and national media activity.What's on the menu?

Retail Media Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute comprehensive retail media strategies aligned with business objectives.Collaborate with internal teams to define target audiences, messaging, and media channels specific to retail environments (both onsite and offsite).Optimize retail media budgets to maximize ROI within the context of CPG retail.Play a key role in strategic JBP discussions and agreements.Manage a portfolio of brand activity effectively with the ability to provide strategic approach to executive leadership and key stakeholders in Brand, Sales, Omni, External Agencies, and Creative.Retail Media Execution:

Oversee the implementation of retail media campaigns across various channels (e.g., retailer websites, mobile apps, in-store displays, offsite display opportunities, sponsored content).Ensure timely and accurate execution of retail media plans and ongoing optimization recommendations.Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.Partnership Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external retail media partners, agencies, and vendors.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with retail media partners.Collaborate closely with retail customers and business units to align retail media efforts with overall marketing initiatives.Thought Leadership and Industry Trends:

Stay abreast of retail media industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies.Deliver perspective and thought leadership within the organization and externally.Provide insights on how retail media can drive brand awareness, sales, and customer engagement.Deliver recommendations on new ways of working and identification of external partners or technologies that can accelerate how Kraft Heinz goes to market in the retailer space.Team Leadership:

Lead a team of retail media professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.Optimize ways of working and engagement model with key stakeholders.Create and execute a vision for how the team leads KHC in the retail media space from strategy through to excellence in execution.Analytics and Reporting:

7-10 years agency, retail or brand side experience building retail media strategies and tactical plans across onsite and offsite search and display tactics.Must have experience with retail media networks of all sizes and executed plans and led a team in execution.Proven ability to build relationships with retail partners and marketplace.Proven ability to collaborate and influence in a cross-functional model inclusive of agency, creative, finance, and other key disciplines.Experience working with both digital and traditional media channels inclusive of display, social, video (TV, OTT, YouTube), search influencer.Effective strategic thinking skills across channels and business objectives.Strong communication versatility to work across a broad spectrum of KHC cross-function teams and varying levels.Willingness to roll up sleeves and be an individual contributor on a variety of tasks.Organized and able to handle several projects concurrently.Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines; high degree of productivity necessary.Ability to work independently.Results oriented.About Us
