Chief Operating Officer of Lending

is responsible for leading DLP's Lending platform; driving execution, enabling growth, and providing extraordinary service to our investors and operators. This leader is consistently improving processes and workflow, leveraging technology and through driving a culture of ownership, leadership and execution throughout the organization.

What you have already achieved: (Requirements)

Experience Leading Direct Lender - Originating 2 Billion + Per Year

Experience leading development, construction, and bridge financing platforms

Preferred: Deep special asset and loan serving background

Preferred: Deep experience in capital markets, direct real estate transactional finance & lender finance

Preferred: Experience leading lending in a 2 Billion + bank

Clear Training, Development, and management plan for Sales/Relationship team implemented

Deep understand of existing loan products and portfolio

Clear Lending sales process from lead to payoff drafted including all tools

Lead Sales Team Leadership, Training, Management and Development

Lead Operations, Closings, and Post Closing departments

Lead Product development

Lead sales pipeline management

Complete loan product, pricing, guidelines every 30 days and make recommendations

Lead delivering wow to existing clients

Drive Lending compliance standards by instituting policies and procedures.

DLP Portfolio tracking, analytics, and dashboards up to date on lending and ownership

Protect the company from internal and external risks and threats

Lead delivering on our brand promises. - speed, surety of execution, wow experience

Deliver Speed with Precision ( loan closing, statements, draw processing, etc)

Protect the company from internal and external risks and threats

Chair of Credit Committee

Voting member of Investment Committee

Serve as Portfolio Manager of the DLP Lending Fund

Alignment meetings min monthly with each direct report, alignment GPA meetings min quarter

Lead daily huddles, weekly L10, weekly sales trainings

Provide monthly strategic plan / performance update to CEO

Real Estate" Deal " Finance

Lead the direct project/ transaction finance of deals in which DLP has ownership

Analyze asset financials and prepare financial models and write-ups for lender submission packages

Lead/Oversee Gathering 4-10 term sheets per loan request and prepare debt matrix to compare options w/ recommendations, including for bridge, construction, and perm loans

Lead Negotiating best debt terms, conditions, and covenants

Manage DLP Lending Debt monitoring - maturities, covenants ,etc

Manage DLP's portfolio balance sheet - mitigating risk & finding opportunities for supplemental financing and refinances

Lead lender DD & communication through entire loan closing process including leading on lender checklist calls

Provide exit financing analysis for DLP loans as lender

Execute debt placement agreements with sponsors & Provide debt placement services on behalf od DLP Elite members

Manage Capital Markets directory

"Lender " Finance

Maintain up to date DLP Lending balance sheet data tracker at all times w/ all key details

WACC reporting providing by 15th of each month

Expand Loan Sale/Securitization Platform- Lead in rolling out the ramp up of DLP Lending multifamily debt platform ( "bank" cost of capital)

Manage DLP's warehousing lender platform and relationships

Monitor leverage facilities (including securitizations) and underlying pledged assets for potential curtailments including maturities/extensions, loan duration, delinquencies, LTV ratios and other such contingent repayment triggering events

Manage leverage facility data and file management, collateral packages, and post closing SOP development

Monitor and improve of collateral stratifications and executive level dashboards & reports for leverage facilities and securitization programs’ performance
