Working Leading Hand to oversee 3 Machinist/Fitters in our Geraldton workshops.Location:
Preference for candidates living in or willing to relocate to Geraldton. Open to discuss options if currently based in Perth.Compensation:
Competitive salary/hourly rate for the right candidate.Hours:
Up to 50 hours per week with flexible scheduling.RequirementsMinimum 2 years supervisor or leading hand experience.Trade Certificate (Fitting & Machining).Construction Industry White Card.Current Police Clearance (obtained within the past 12 months).Current Driver's License.Other AbilitiesTechnical Skills:
Experience with machining and operating machines, including Milling, Manual Lathe, CNC Programming, Hydraulic Press, and Balancing Machine.Work Ethic:
Ability to work independently with high motivation, energy, and commitment, managing multiple priorities effectively.Desirable Qualifications:
High Risk LF, Dogging, WAH, EWP, MR Truck Licence, and experience with QAQC Management and paperwork.Safety & Compliance:
Familiarity with safe work systems, OHS, and mining standards, with the ability to supervise workshop and site activities safely.Project Support:
Assist with design input, estimating, tendering, innovation, and employee scheduling.Problem Solving:
Ability to actively solve problems and work unsupervised.Collaboration:
Open-mindedness and willingness to work collaboratively, support continuous improvement, and adapt to system management environments.Pre-Employment:
