It's a core part of Visa's Commercial & Money Movement Solutions organization, helping move money to where it needs to go securely and at scale with multi-currency solutions under a globally recognized brand.Visa is seeking an attorney to join its growing Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (CMS) team within the Global Visa Legal, Ethics & Compliance team. Your work will have a direct impact on billions of people around the world - helping unlock financial access to enable the future of money movement.What we expect of you, day to day.The role will report to a Senior Managing Counsel, CMS Legal, based in San Francisco. You will be responsible for:Providing commercial contracting support to the CMS business across a range of complex commercial matters and projects, including Visa Direct for Card, Account and Wallet, Visa+, Alias Directory and other CMS products and services.Navigating the complex landscape of money movement regulations, working closely with other experienced attorneys across regions and practice areas.Advising CMS business and technology teams regarding product and features development, deployment, and associated terms and contracting considerations.Reviewing and advising on marketing materials and sales collateral relating to CMS, ensuring content accurately reflects product functionality and legal requirements.Developing, managing, and maintaining relationships to facilitate the effective delivery of legal support, liaising with other Visa departments across the globe to ensure alignment with business needs and policies.Proactively contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Legal, Ethics & Compliance division as a whole.What we're afterApplicants must be skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast paced, time sensitive, and challenging, but highly rewarding environment, have excellent judgment and strong analytical, problem solving, client counseling, and negotiation skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to clearly and easily present complex topics and ideas to senior leaders, be self-motivated and entrepreneurial, and, most importantly, be a confident, forward thinking, creative, optimistic, curious, and collaborative team player.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.- Admitted to practice law in the United States and in good standing.- Fluent English speaker.Preferred Qualifications- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.- Experience with commercial law and regulations in a multi-jurisdictional environment.- Good understanding of working in-house within a large technology organization.- Enthusiasm to become an expert adviser within the payments industry.Additional Information

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 196,100 to 255,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
