Title - Business Data Analyst
Location - San Jose, CA HybridPay rate - $65.92 per hour on W2Duration - 6 MonthsThis is a hybrid role. Looking for local candidates who can go into the San Jose office.Work as a part of a dedicated team following agile scrum model. Define key business problems to be solved, formulate mathematical approaches, gather data to solve those problems, develop, analyze/draw conclusions, and present. Responsible for weekly reporting on Payments Performance against Financial forecast and be able to explain the gap through drivers. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand the requirements and communicate to the team for better test planning and execution. Well versed in emerging industry technologies and trends.Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in Business Analyst/Product management role, informatics, applied statistics or comparable field.Data analytics capabilities.Expertise in SQL.Experience in implementing analytical solutions using programming languages, such as Python, is a plus for solving analytics problems.A keen desire to solve business problems, and to find patterns and insights within structured and unstructured data.Able to propose analytics strategies and solutions that challenge and expand the thinking of everyone around them.Knowledge of software development processes and best practices.Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in Agile environment is strongly desired.Excellent communication skills required.
