The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java, Android, SONARQUBE, and GIT. This role requires a proactive individual who can lead technical teams, ensure project success, and contribute to the company’s overall mission.Responsibilities
Lead technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budgetOversee the development and implementation of Java and Android applicationsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team membersEnsure code quality and maintainability using SONARQUBEManage version control and collaboration using GITCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverablesConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standardsTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely mannerMonitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectivesCommunicate project status and updates to stakeholdersDevelop and maintain technical documentationEnsure compliance with company policies and industry regulationsDrive continuous improvement in development processes and practicesQualifications
Extensive experience in Java and Android developmentProficiency in using SONARQUBE for code quality managementStrong knowledge of GIT for version controlExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsProven ability to lead and manage technical teamsStrong communication and collaboration skillsExperience with Agile methodologies is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldRelevant certifications in Java, Android, or project management are preferredCertifications Required
CERTIFIED JAVA DEVELOPER, ANDROID CERTIFIED APPLICATION DEVELOPER, CERTIFIED SCRUMMASTERSalary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 – $150,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits
