If you’re interested in joining a unique, world-class advertising group with a relentless focus on the customer, you’ve come to the right place.This role will be under Amazon's Theatrical, Home Entertainment team, which focuses on movie studios' goals driving awareness for theatrical films as well as films available to watch at home in a TVOD environment.As a Principal Account Executive in our Entertainment Vertical, you will report to a Sales Manager and use your extensive marketing and sales experience in the movie studio industry, specifically your transactional video on demand (TVOD) distribution and sales thought leadership, to sell digital advertising solutions to film studio media teams and their ad agencies to successfully grow and scale the category’s domestic revenues. You will serve as the single-threaded owner for US investment and strategy for several major film studios. With your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships within the film studio category, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients and sell a broad range of advertising solutions that will ensure that their business goals are met.Key job responsibilities:Operate as a team and category lead for Amazon's TVOD business, advocating for the needs of multiple Account Executives and TVOD studio counterpartsAdvocate for long-term strategic business improvements that positively impact the entire TVOD categoryNavigate undefined custom programsProvide intricate campaign data recommendations for ROI-focused endemic TVOD clients as well as broader category-wide strategic insightsPartner directly with CMOs and C-Suite Executives at major studiosEducate and evangelize the needs of the entire film studio category to internal partner teams and stakeholdersDeliver the highest level of sales and customer service to our brand and performance media clientsRetain and grow revenue from existing advertisersProspect new relationships and foster existing relationships with clients at all levels, especially at the Director and C-Suite levelsDrive deals to closure independently while strategizing longer-term partnership growthThis role requires a minimum of three days working from the assigned office a week and will require travel as needed.A day in the life:Meet with internal Sr. Managers and Directors on Weekly Business Reviews across Prime Video Display Ads, Prime Video Streaming Ads, and Fire TVPitch proposals to studios looking to promote their films on Amazon's Prime Video TVOD platformMeet with Directors and C-Suite execs across studios to discuss their business needsProvide weekly updates to AEs on the team regarding TVOD category improvementsAbout the team:This team manages all advertisers in the studio category space, whether that's major studios like Disney, Universal, Warner Bros, Paramount, Sony, Lionsgate, or indie studios like A24, Neon, Bleecker Street, and more.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
