Internal Audit strives to be a critical function to evaluate company, industry and emerging risks, effectively partnering with the business, and consistently recruit and develop key talent. We also continuously assess our culture to allow for an environment that cultivates and sustains an atmosphere of self and team development.Plan and execute Financial audits throughout AbbVie's international and domestic organizations.Coordinate execution of financial audit plans to optimize audit speed and effectiveness.Coordinate efforts with internal / external audit as appropriate.Prepare and present financial audit findings to business stakeholders.Identify and communicate risk and control themes.Participate in the financial risk assessment and development of the audit plan for assigned entities and critical systems.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting, or relevant area of study.At least 3 years of work experience relevant to Finance, Audit or Accounting, preferably within a public accounting firm or equivalent internal audit experience within a global company.Experience planning and executing financial audits.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.25% travel to AbbVie's International and Domestic locations.Preferred:CPA highly preferred or progress toward attaining CPA.Other certifications/degrees a plus: CIA, CPA, CFE, MBA.Additional InformationApplicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
