This is a remote role- you can work from anywhere in the USA- preferably in locations with eastern or central time zones.

Job Summary

Reporting to a Chief Delivery Officer, we are seeking a Client Service Director whose role is to lead the delivery for multiple client engagement projects & help support the growth of Atlantix Partners across the United States for middle-market organizations (i.e., annual revenue $500M plus). In this role, you will be actively working on deliverables, leading client relations and teams.

Responsibilities:

Accounting and Finance AdvisoryWork both independently and collaboratively on diverse projects involving complex financial and operational challenges.Based on your skills and interests, projects may include (but not limited to): Interim Controller/CFO, SEC reporting, M&A, IPO Readiness, Financial transformation, SOX Compliance, Technical Accounting, FP&A, ERP implementation, etc.Account Management:Function as the firm's representative during client engagements.Help grow the company by supporting business development and identifying growth opportunities at both new and existing clients.Craft client solutions, and partner with business development group in helping prepare or present client proposals.Client Delivery:Perform and oversee executive project management; leading teams to ensure effective project delivery, client satisfaction, and contractual deliverables.Oversee client engagement budgets.Work closely with resource management to assign required resources for client engagements.Qualifications:15-plus years of professional experience working in a client serving role at a top-tier public accounting firm. Other accounting/financial advisory or private industry experience can account for related experience.Experience leading client relations, including attending audit meetings at a top tier public accounting firm is required.Bachelor's degree in accounting. Graduate studies and a CPA are highly preferred.Proven experience managing multiple projects at the same time, leading teams, and managing client relations.Experience developing approaches to client solutioning, developing work breakdown, and estimating resources needed.Strong knowledge of GAAP with experience managing complex financial accounting and operational issues.Deep experience in technical accounting such as Revenue Recognition, Lease Accounting, Purchase Accounting, etc.Experience with SEC reporting, FP&A, Mergers & Acquisitions, IPO readiness, Process Improvement, and ERP Implementations are desirable assets.Experience with Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies, both privately owned and publicly traded.Experience working with ERP systems and strong level of expertise with Excel.Experience in advising clients on financial and transformation initiatives.Ability to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions.Someone who enjoys mentoring and coaching team members.Values exceptional customer service.Willing to travel according to client needs.
