Leadership and personal qualities desired in the next Head of School:

A confident and humble leader who understands and respects the Summit journey.

A self-aware leader with a collaborative leadership style.

A deep understanding of and commitment to the value of a Montessori education.

A capacity to inspire and engage constituents around the school’s values and mission.

A demonstrated track record in championing authentic diversity and fostering an inclusive community.

A hands-on leadership style and willingness to enthusiastically pitch in at all levels of school operations.

An ability to hire and retain highly competent faculty and staff.

A commitment to building and sustaining a highly effective relationship with the Board.

Minimum of three years of demonstrated leadership and management skills.
