Job Requirements:

7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience

5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience

Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market

Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Experience translating customer needs into innovative and detailed product requirements for customer-facing online and mobile products/services

The AWS Developer Experience team is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced Product Manager, Technical to transform the way technical builders learn, experiment, and interact with AWS through their careers.

You will be responsible for bringing new developer-focused experiences to life, and shaping how AWS builds effective relationships with both new-to-cloud and experienced AWS developers. In this role you will partner with UX design, engineering, research, and the Developer Experience team to innovate and build an experience for the AWS developer community.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing and launching a community program experience that inspires and empowers technical builders. This is a highly visible role, where you will raise the bar for the customer experiences that span across all AWS services.

You have the vision, customer obsession, technical acumen, and operational understanding to deliver large-scale, customer-facing features. You will lead the effort across AWS to define short and long-term vision for the AWS developer community.

Key job responsibilities:

Own and drive the customer working backwards strategy.

Define the product vision and definition.

Ensure the execution of the product roadmap. Lead the interactions with the engineering and product teams across AWS to make trade-offs based on customer requirements.

Keep projects on track through clear task list, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes.

Influence senior leaders across AWS, and communicate changes, issues, and resolutions clearly to all stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:

Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
