The Vice President of IT will be responsible for driving the global IT strategy to support our research and development efforts. This position will ensure that our technology infrastructure aligns with and accelerates our mission to advance cortisol modulation therapies to treat serious diseases. The Head of IT will collaborate closely with scientific, clinical, and business teams to implement innovative IT solutions that enhance our drug discovery and development processes.Responsibilities:Support and partner with the Chief Technology Officer, taking the lead on key initiativesDevelop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports Corcept's research, clinical trials, and business operationsCollaborate with senior executives to ensure IT initiatives align with and drive forward Corcept's scientific and business goalsOversee the integration of IT services across Corcept's global operationsLead IT support for Corcept's expanding clinical trial networks and research collaborationsCollaborate with HR to develop training programs that keep the IT team at the forefront of relevant technologiesDevelop and manage the IT budget to support Corcept's growth and research initiativesLead the implementation and continuous improvement of robust IT systems and protocols that ensure the highest level of data protection, compliance, and security across the organizationManage relationships with key technology vendors and research partnersNegotiate and oversee contracts for IT services and solutions critical to Corcept's operationsDrive the adoption of advanced technologies to enhance research capabilities to accelerate drug discovery and development processesOversee the development and maintenance of systems supporting clinical trials and data analysisPreferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure supporting drug discovery, clinical trials, regulatory compliance, contracts, HR, and FinanceSuccessful implementation of innovative IT solutions in a research-intensive environmentStrategic thinker with a passion for leveraging technologyPreferred Education and Experience:B.S. or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industryThe pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this headquarters-based position is $325,000 - $342,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
